I think it is a good idea to appoint bastion trading as interim managers of a portion of treasury. Let us do 2 months with them. Dani and a few of current multisig holders always remain to sign. Key performance metrics we should be looking for during their 2 month interim period:
ā Clear, concise metrics for treasury allocations displayed for the DAO. Graphs, charts, infographics, similar to a board of directors report, easy to read numbers.
ā Monthly AMAs and Treasury updates
ā Monthly dividends(revenue share, perhaps 20% of monthly profits, 70% to treasury, 5% to management fees, 5% to wonderland team and marketing)
As for VC deals to spot, we can look to hire another professional firm to manage that and get revenue share from there as well.

No. Their skills are in trading, not value creation and nation management. They are not suitable for Wonderland.

I spent 15 years as senior analyst investing in Hedge Funds and Private Equity. I think it would make sense to evaluate at least 5-10 potential treausry managers before voting to move forward with these guys. These guys seem like traders, probably started with small amounts of capital. And they clearly state they donāt do VC investment - which is a key investment arena where Wonderland could really add value and drive interest in the token. (i.e Betswapp, airdrops etc).

I think fees has to be a discussion in itself:
For example a management/advisory fee that is in line with ultimately a discussion leads to what role.
For what Iāve described above, I would think such management fees would be around 2% per year for the AUM managed and charged monthly. If thereās a treasury high water mark that can be determined, we can change to a profit share instead for example (i think thereās little point to charge a large profit/revenue share when things are so beat up like here).
Iād love to optimize some of the lowest hanging fruit in managing the income side of the treasury.
There can/should be a separate team & advisors to find the right VC deals - which is a task all on itself - and a very different skill set from other types of management.
You donāt want a VC specialist managing a income fund and vice versa in general.

There should be an interview process and any group that wants to lead the treasury needs to campaign and earn the communityās vote.
Guys letās move on. WE need someone to manage our treasury at least temporarily.
Yes, the endless discussions just points out non working DAO decision-making-processes on schedule (5 days).
Fellow members, we have options to appoint a outsourced or an inhouse treasury management team. Please ensure the following
- The team should not be anonymous, the people should be distinguished professional public people of very high repute and background.
- There should be a committee of at least 4-5 investment managers and they should take decisions collectively and transparently.
- There should not be any conflict of interest.
- The fee should be very minimal, if any.
- The communication with the dao should be clear and transparent.
Ideally all this should happen as soon as possible.

I really think this proposal is a good starting point for WL 2.0. With an eventual multibillion dollar treasury every risk level investment portfolios will need its own management team. The first place we need to start at is maximizing our return on our low and medium risk investments. Iām all in for this proposal.
just hire them now and get on with this shit. and people saying that these guys dont know what they are doingā¦ one of them has been vice president of morgen stanley and another one has been managing entire divisions at UBS and jp morgan chase. this 700mil treasury is extremely tiny peanuts for them.
These returns have been audited by a big 8 accounting firm.

It is better however we donāt know who he is. Can we bring bastion on board and follow the professors plan?

I would rather have Harry Yeh as TM then a group of crypto traders. We can make a Trading Team and have them on that but not treasury manager.
