This Proposal is for the revolutionary revamp of Volta to rebuild both the treasury and revitalizes the token price.
In the crypto space there are many tokens now from memes with no utility, to stores of value to yield producing assets. To ensure that Volta becomes an attractive proposition I think we need to address 3 main areas to improve our offering and make Volta stand out amongst other tokens. I would like to initiate a discussion on the following points.
- The Community
- The Token – Most notably the price
- The Team
Firstly the community, I would like to propose a change to the overall structure of the discord and the accepted behaviours.
• Firstly discord General is the first port of call to new investors, having disputes and a negative space in this area is in itself self-defeating and we ned to set something in place that this is not acceptable. Personally I think this very important.
• Constructive and healthy discussions of a more robust nature should be kept to the VIP-Room so only holders can see the healthy discussions. We should probably state as well that calling people lairs, slandering people is not an acceptable practice in any forum and should not be tolerated.
• In addition to this stream lining to make a more positive feeling to the forums and for potential buyers to see, I thought we could develop 3 teams that could be approached who had 5% to post CMP’s that people could petition to get CMP’s to a vote. 2 x Community led ones and 1 x Sifu. I would like to think that this might lead to a more positive experience with more community engagement.
Secondly the token, to improve the token price I feel we need to look at what value and return it give us. Currently especially with the current dip in price I would say this is limited, however not all is lost and with a few small changes I think we could change the direction and the value of the token. As such I would like to discuss the below.
To achieve this I think we need to consider implementing the following
• A review of the revenue streams we currently have and expenditures.
• A confirmation on all the loan agreements including proposed repayment schedules.
• A development of additional yields and income.
• An agreement with UwU what part of profit they will supply back to Volta after bad debt repaid and timeline.
• A return in the form of a stable coin every quarter or six months distributed to Volta holders through deposit on Volta maybe so people could also use the lending facility if they liked to. I currently feel this is also more important than buy backs
• To continue buy backs when we have rebuilt the treasury.
There could be other things that may help the token as well which people may think it would be worthwhile to make the token more attractive and I would be interested to hear them. A rather controversial thought I had that we pull the liquidity so people cant trade the token, we implement all of the above with the exception of the buy backs people would be getting return but unable to sell. But also people could not buy to take the return we are offering as we rebuild the treasury. People who wanted to sell we could buy those back privately but it would be at the token price.
Finally the team.
Personally I think they do a very good job managing and supporting all the projects they are involved in. However, it does seem that some members of the team are sick of the BS from some people in the community. That Sifu himself might like to have less responsibility and just concentrate on the Zoo and SV, all these are understandable.
I don’t think we should have any mass cull and wouldn’t want to lose any of the team as personally I think their experiences in the space are an invaluable resource but feel really now it should be looked at from a personal perspective of the team and their wishes.
This is not a coup as I think that we should be working together to sort it for the benefit of everyone and that the team has done a great job under some difficult circumstances I have noticed a proposal to appoint darklord_gr as temporary treasury manager and this is the sort of involvement that may benefit Volta as part of the above strategy.
Although one man or a single catalyst might spark a revolution no one man or woman can do it by themselves i would like everyone should come along, Russ will be there, bring a friend.
