I will reserve my vote until i know Sifu stance on any future merger. I need to know merger is off the table unless wonderland is doing the acquiring. If he can make a statement letting the community know wonderland will not now or in the future take a subservient position on a merger then i would vote yes to return sifu to the community leadership. The only reason i voted against sifu previously was the merger was a bad idea. So lets get his position on wonderlands immediate future before advancing any vote.
This is not his fault. the airdrop is completely on devs. He reimbursed his half for the liquidations. This fallout ruined the cex because we couldnt merge with spell. Your trying to dispute facts wit propaganda

He was in charge of Wonderland. You canât pick and choose which activities related to Wonderland you want to credit him with. At the end of the day, leadership shoulders the burden. It doesnât matter that your dev teams underperformed, itâs up to you, as the leader, to find a way to make it work or be transparent about the situation with your community/investors/frogs.
Dani confirmed on 2022/02/10 in Discord that delays here were not necessarily Sifuâs fault. You were correct on this assumption, Iâve edited my original post.

Entirely unrelated. The idea of being CEX listed was floated before it was widely known they were working on anything to do with a Spell merger. It should have always been possible to get CEX listed. There are fees, but they are tiny compared with the exposure it would have meant for Wonderland.
Iâve linked plenty of evidence you can educate yourself with. If you want to dispute a claim, please bring forward counter-points rather than trying to deflect the blame of Patrynâs lackluster leadership skills onto those working to deliver on his vision.

the amount of trust you all have in a repeat offender is mindblowing, no cex can legally work with him if he comes back and no retail investor will invest in the project ever.

I personally think that if he wants to come back in some capacity, and the team wants him back, he should be allowed to come back.
In my eyes, many people are way too influenced by Quadriga conspiracy theories. The fact of the matter is, Quadriga was doing well, had anti-money laundering practices in place, had frequent audits, and Sifu was leading the push to make it public⌠but he was fired/left with most of the staff and it went to shit, ending 3 years later. (I can find references for any of this if needed)
Before that, when he was younger he involved in many early digital currency things, and he was given 1.5 years in jail with a charge of money laundering. Personally, I spent my late teens/early 20s participating in anime translation groups as a hobby. While itâs not on the same level, it was also illegal and our communities overlapped with various other, more shady communities. People in the community were often fined (and maybe a few jailed) for things like âcopyright infringementâ and âbootlegging.â
I see no âproven history of ripping people offâ in his background, while there is a chance it may be possible. Without proof, weâre just making accusations and taking actions based off fear and paranoia.
I laugh at people yelling to hire âThe Professor,â as they are yet another person with an unknown background. I really wouldnât be surprised if he is Sifu, as itâs yet another âauthoritativeâ nickname (Sifu = Teacher = Professor?). This says nothing about Sifu or âThe Professorâ though, both of them seem to know their shit and have good ideas to me. Rather, this says something about a lot of Wonderlandâs users.
If Wonderland continues, here are some points I want to see implemented. It should help dispel current FUD, and make it less susceptible in the future:

I would like to see an analysis/documentation/reports on Sifuâs actions so far. Has he been doing a good job? Has the treasury been growing due to investments? I personally have no reason to doubt this, but this information should help persuade anyone thatâs skeptical.

No commingling of DAO funds in personal wallets. This definitely isnât a good look and confuses things. Iâm glad the OP brought it up.

More transparency on team fund allocation. 5% of what? when? How often? I think the random transfer of these team funds is another thing that looks really suspicious.

Community Education and better communication: I mentioned how wanting to hire the professor says something about Wonderlandâs users. I think a lot of users are confused and susceptible to FUD as they were just attracted to the high APY and may not understand a lot of price action. It might be a good idea to⌠I donât know, start a blog about general economics and price action in crypto, or the overall economy.
This is one thing I think the JADE DAO team did awesomely. I know Wonderland had a post attempting to explain the benefits of wrapped memo (and making a cookie crumb analogy), but it didnât really get into cookie crumbs being inflation/dilution and why they can be deceptive and a bad metric. -
Optional: Salary caps and transparent salaries. Related to #3 above, I donât think itâs fair that team members can potentially make bank based purely off how much people are investing, while investors are losing money. I guess this can give the impression that project devs donât have to make a project thatâs profitable to investors in order to make money themselves. Salaries should be some base amount + a share of 5% percent of profits or something.

Im for this, Dani and him were a team and they did great things together for us under the Wonderland banner. Dani seems like a beaten man without him, have you read Danis Discord comments recently?
Get Sifu back and steady this ship. Hopefully, he can get back to his AMAs on Discord which were really informative. Crypto doesnt care for anything but results. He has shown in the past he can perform brilliantly, I believe he can do that again.

I had voted in favor of removing Sifu as treasury manager at the rushed snapshot. It wasnât because I was really worried about him if the accusations were true, I was worried about Wonderland image. Even at that moment, I felt like Zachxbt must be part of something meant to take Wonderland down. Just an accusation alone is enough for people to call for heads, and itâs the investors who pay the price. The people who wish to see Wonderland fail are hard at work. I see some pretty coordinated negativity at times, which I find suspicious. They donât have âa different opinion.â They are out to change your mind and make the project go down. Itâs funny how they are calling supporters brainwashed and a cult, yet they are the ones who willfully ignore new information. Something about that doesnât add up to me. I donât trust them. We are being insulted so they can shame us into thinking we are wrong, they arenât offering constructive and logical counterpoints. They do not want to see your success, and they do not want to see Wonderland become successful. That is clear.
However, it seems Sifu does want Wonderland to succeed. Daniele wants Wonderland to succeed (and a HUGE F U to all the people who gave him death threats and broke his heart.) I donât worship Sifu nor Daniele, but I do respect them and their accomplishments. I do think they are trying, and want to see us, the frogs, succeed.
Whether Sifu wants to go back to managing the treasury, and whether we vote to allow him to if it goes to vote, I wanted to add my support for the idea. I think he did a wonderful job in a short amount of time with constant odds stacked against him.
That said, I also like the Professor and Wonderland 2.0 proposals. Itâs beautiful to see others that wanted to be constructive and look toward the success of Wonderland. I think the main thing we need is direction and to establish where we are going. I would like that direction to be to the moon.

Whoâs going to win with this situation? Wonderland will NGMI if such a proposal is approved because itâs going to lose any last crumb of confidence, once we would have chosen to bring back the same problem that rekt us. This is so illogical that one might wonder if this is exactly the point of this proposal: to end once and for all with any chance of survival of this project and end up with something they tried to do a few days ago but failed.
